My name is Vitor, I'm 32 years old, and I'm originally from my beloved João Pessoa, the capital of the state of Paraíba. Currently, I live and work in São Paulo as a Cyber Governance and Risk Analyst at Brasilseg.

Before moving to the most populous city in our country (Brazil), I graduated in Computer Science in 2012 from Centro Universitário de João Pessoa — UNIPÊ, and there I also completed a postgraduate course in Information Security (2014–2016).

​

My passion for the security field began during the latter part of my undergraduate studies after participating in some events at the time. Since my college didn't offer courses related to the subject, I studied on my own so that when the opportunity arose, I could start working in the field, which happened in 2013.

​

I've been riding the wave of Governance, Risk, and Compliance since the beginning of my career. I've spoken at events such as Jampasec, Jornada Digital da IBLISS, Cryptorave, Hackbahia, Sinergia Soluções, and Fatecnologia. I am actively involved in the community, and with the aim of contributing even more, I created this blog.

While I may discuss other personal interests in this space, the main focus will undoubtedly be spreading awareness about Information Security through analyses and personal opinions suitable for all ages. On a more personal note, I enjoy reading comics, watching anime, movies, and series, and engaging in sports whenever possible.
